on the edge of something great

“What do you do when you feel like you’re on the edge of a great expression … only you’re missing too many pieces to actually see what it is.”

I got this email from a client in response to my email about Taylor Swift last week. If you missed it, here’s the blog post. And you should get on my email list!

She said I could share her email because I know it will resonate with so many! Here goes:

“So many people – like Taylor Swift! – seem to have pieced together such a strong and defined path at such a young age.

I feel like I’m piecing together a puzzle that I don’t have the lid to. I don’t know what it’s going to be. I have a bunch of pieces to fit together.

But is it a sunrise? A basket of puppies? Monkeys eating spaghetti? I just can’t figure it out.

And some days I get tired of sorting through pieces and none of them fit together.

A wise woman would probably say that’s what life is … sorting through pieces and trying to make a nice picture. Well, I guess a wise woman did just say that. LOL.

Most days I can admire the bits that I’ve pieced together and appreciate them.

But other days the cat scrambles across it and I lose a bunch of my work.

I guess that’s life too. Feel the frustration but also love the cat’s companionship even though it messed up your work.

I guess I just really want that lid so I can see what I’m making.

I guess that’s what meditation and visualization and dreaming is for. We can picture the sunrise or the puppies or the monkeys.

But I think I’ve been way off a couple of times in life, visualizing and dreaming one thing but then getting something very very different.”

Isn’t that so well said?! Can you relate? Me too.

THIS is my mission: To sit at the card table with you as we work on the lidless puzzle together. Laughing. Talking. Getting frustrated. Sipping our lemonade. Getting tired of it. Treasuring the process.

Everything I offer is in service to creating clarity for you – my workshops, my retreats, my coaching sessions, my pranic healing sessions.

To know you’re not alone. To know that you’ve done nothing wrong. To remember that we’re all in this together.

If you’d like help with your puzzle, schedule a coaching session and I’ll go get the card table set up!
